Divorce without job
I want to divorce my husband but I work p/t only and still training to become a f/t teacher.
Would I be able to support my two kids on my own?

advice from others
Here are a couple pieces of advice I have found in this forum that might help you in your situation.
---What I have found is that in almost every state there is a website that you can calculate what kind of child support you can expect based off of all of the factors like income, expenses etc.
Just go to a search engine like Google and search "Child Support Calculator for (your state here)" Thats what I did and ended up becoming very informed on what to expect out of a child support settlement.
Its not completely accurate and most of the sites that do this that I've seen disclaim that what it calculates won't always be what you get but it will give you a good rough estimate.
---Once separated, you can apply to the court for several types of relief. First, you may request child support if you have custody of the minor children. The question is always "how much?" Both of you are going to have to contribute. One of you probably will think they are getting too little and the other probably will think they are paying too much. Fortunately, most states have implemented child support guidelines. This mandated method of calculation takes some of the guess work out of who pays how much

hello
I think you can survive. But is it possible to take the responsibility of only one child.
I think it is better for you.

my opinion
hello, yes I agree also, we can never say that lack of love is the reason why do couples broke up, i know that love fades, but lack of money to support your family will cause divorce, finance i think is the main reason why the is rising here in our country, also true, because of recession, some persons will think of a jobless partner is not good, especially if the partner's mind set is to be successful.
